The ESCB Data Exchange for Cash Services (DECS) is a main driver for the use of GS1 Standards for Eurosystem NCBs. Consequently, the process of cross-border bulk transfers is used by most of the participating NCBs, followed by national transportation. Only one central banks offers CHTO and three central banks offer NHTO as a supply operation service, therefore the percentage in the chart is low.

The majority of participating central banks only use GS1 XML 2.5 for their supply operations.

The Data Exchange for Cash Services (DECS) process reflects also the use of the identifications keys GLN, GTIN and SSCC. They are mandatory for the process. SGTIN and GIAI are not used.
